Custom orders are final sale
Custom-printed, embroidered, personalized and made-to-order apparel and merchandise cannot be returned or exchanged for a change of mind, an event cancellation, or a size, color, quantity or design you approved. This includes items produced for company stores and group orders. Please review your product selection, size chart, order details and artwork proof before approval.
Final sale does not exclude help for items that arrive damaged, are defective, or do not match the approved order.
Damaged, defective or incorrect items
Email print@lscustom.com as soon as you notice a problem, preferably within 14 calendar days of delivery or pickup. Include your order or invoice number, the affected items and quantities, a description, and clear photos of the issue and packaging. Keep the items and packaging until we finish reviewing the claim.
If we confirm a defect, shipping damage or an LS Custom error, we will arrange an appropriate correction, repair or replacement at no additional charge. If that is not practical, we will refund the affected items. We will not charge a restocking fee for an approved defect or order-error claim.
Normal wear, damage from improper care or later alteration, and customer-approved spelling or artwork errors are not production defects. Minor screen-to-product color differences are not automatically defects; we assess the actual item against the approved order specifications.
Other merchandise and exchanges
Undecorated merchandise purchased specifically for your order is also final sale unless return eligibility was stated in your written quote or product listing before purchase. Any separately offered return or exchange terms will identify the eligible items, deadline, condition requirements and applicable costs. Defective or incorrect items remain covered by the support process above.
We do not offer routine size exchanges on customized products. Contact us if you need additional sizes so we can help arrange a new order.
How an approved return works
- Contact us before mailing or dropping off any item.
- We will review the issue and provide written authorization and the correct return address or pickup/drop-off instructions if a return is needed.
- For an approved defect, damage or LS Custom error claim, we cover required return shipping and shipping for the corrected or replacement item. Use the return method we provide.
Do not ship a return to a showroom or supplier without authorization. Keep items in their received condition where possible; normal inspection does not prevent you from reporting a defect.
Refunds
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. We process the refund within 10 business days after approval and, if required, receipt and inspection of the returned items. Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to post it.
For a partial-order issue, the refund covers the affected items and associated tax. If an entire order must be refunded because of a confirmed defect or LS Custom error, the refund also includes the original standard shipping charge. Any other shipping adjustment will be explained when the claim is resolved.
Changes and cancellations
Contact us immediately if you need to change or cancel an order. Changes depend on the order’s progress and are not guaranteed. If cancellation is possible, completed design or setup work, purchased nonreturnable materials and production already performed may be deducted from the refund. We will explain any deduction based on your order and work completed. An order cannot be cancelled once production is complete.
Customer-supplied garments
We cannot refund the purchase price of garments or products you bought elsewhere. If there is a concern with decoration we performed, contact us for review under your written order terms and applicable law.
Scope of this policy
This policy applies to purchases directly from LS Custom. Any different return terms must be disclosed and agreed to before the order is placed. Existing orders retain the terms agreed to at purchase. This policy does not limit rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Order support FAQ
Quality, returns, remakes & issue resolution
Use these answers to document an issue clearly and understand what is reviewed before a remedy is determined. The applicable written order and LS Custom return policy control the specific transaction.
What should we do if custom merchandise arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect?
Contact LS Custom promptly with the order or invoice reference, affected quantity, clear photos and a description of the issue. Keep the goods and packaging until the review is complete. The appropriate remedy depends on the documented problem and the applicable written order or policy.
How quickly should we report a possible production defect?
Report a suspected defect as soon as it is discovered and within the period stated in the applicable order or return policy. Early notice makes it easier to inspect the issue, preserve carrier evidence and determine the correct next step.
What photos or evidence help LS Custom review an order issue?
Provide wide photos showing the affected items, close-ups of the issue, carton or packaging photos when shipping damage may be involved, quantities affected and the order reference. Do not discard evidence until the review is complete.
Does a color difference between a screen and a physical garment automatically mean the order is defective?
Not necessarily. Screens, garment dye lots, thread, ink and print processes can display color differently. The review should compare the delivered product with the approved proof, product specification and any physical sample used for approval.
What happens if the wrong garment, size, quantity, or decoration was produced?
Document the discrepancy against the approved order and proof. LS Custom reviews the affected units and the written specification before determining whether correction, replacement or another remedy applies.
Can customized merchandise usually be returned because we changed our mind?
Custom-decorated goods are generally different from ordinary retail returns because they were produced to an approved specification. Change-of-mind eligibility depends on the applicable written policy and order terms; confirm cancellation and return conditions before authorizing production.
What happens if our team approved artwork containing a spelling or sizing mistake?
Proof approval is an important production control. If the delivered goods match the approved artwork or specification, a later requested change may require a new production order rather than a defect remedy. Review names, dates, spelling, placement and dimensions carefully before approval.
How are carrier-damaged shipments handled?
Photograph the carton and contents before discarding packaging, note visible damage at receipt when possible and contact LS Custom promptly. Carrier evidence and deadlines can affect the available claim process.
What if only part of a large order has a problem?
Identify the exact affected quantity and separate those units from acceptable goods. A partial issue does not automatically require treating the entire order as defective; the review should establish the scope first.
Can LS Custom remake an order before the original problem is reviewed?
A remake should not be assumed before the issue and responsibility are confirmed. For deadline-critical situations, contact the team immediately so the review and any time-sensitive options can be discussed together.
What should we inspect when a large custom order arrives?
Check carton count, product, color, sizes, decoration, personalization and visible shipping condition against the approved order. For multi-location programs, use the same receiving checklist at each destination.
How should a multi-location company report shortages or packing errors?
Have each location record what was received, what is missing or incorrect, carton identifiers and photos where useful. Consolidate the evidence by destination so the issue can be reconciled against packing and shipping records.
What if a product manufacturer changes a garment or color between repeat orders?
Product availability and manufacturer specifications can change. Repeat orders should reconfirm the current product and color, especially when exact matching matters. Any proposed substitution should be approved before production.
Can a discontinued product be substituted without buyer approval?
For a managed program, substitution rules should be agreed in advance. When a core product is unavailable, the replacement should be reviewed for fit, color, decoration and cost before it becomes the new standard.
How should we handle an order issue when merchandise has already been distributed?
Contact LS Custom with the total quantity, known affected units, distribution status and evidence. The review may need to distinguish recoverable inventory from items already issued to employees, customers or event attendees.
Are normal garment tolerances the same as a production defect?
No. Apparel and decoration can have manufacturing tolerances, while a defect is a failure to meet the applicable specification or acceptable product condition. The selected product, approved proof and documented issue should be reviewed together.
What happens if customer-supplied garments are damaged during decoration?
Customer-supplied goods carry different replacement risk because LS Custom did not source the blank item. The applicable order should state responsibility and remedy terms before decoration begins, especially for rare or high-value garments.
Can an order be canceled after products or production have been committed?
Cancellation depends on project stage and the applicable written terms. Blank goods, custom sourcing, artwork, setup, production or other committed costs may already be nonrecoverable. Ask for a written cancellation assessment before assuming the order can be stopped without cost.
How should an enterprise buyer define inspection and remedy terms before a large rollout?
Put acceptance criteria, inspection timing, evidence requirements, escalation contacts, remedy process and any location-specific receiving responsibilities in the written order or statement of work before production.
Who should our team contact first when an order problem is urgent?
Use the LS Custom contact responsible for the order and include the order reference, deadline, affected quantity and evidence in the first message. For a managed program, establish primary and escalation contacts before launch.
