Getting started

Can I order without being in Texas?

Yes. LS Custom works with businesses across the U.S. Share your products, quantities, artwork and delivery ZIP codes. Our Houston-area team can coordinate selection, approvals and shipping remotely.

Can I place one order without joining a program?

Yes. You can request a single apparel, gifting or promotional-product order. A recurring arrangement or company store is optional.

What should I send to get an accurate merchandise quote?

Send your product ideas, quantities, sizes, decoration locations, logo files, budget and required arrival date. Include destinations, packing needs and any procurement requirements.

Do you help us choose products if we only have a budget?

Yes. Tell us who the products are for and how they will be used. We can compare suitable apparel and promotional items, with availability and final pricing confirmed in your quote.

What determines minimum order quantities?

Minimums depend on the product, decoration method, supplier and ordering model. A printed tee, embroidered jacket and custom-manufactured gift can have different requirements. Ask about the specific items you need.

How much does custom merchandise cost?

The full cost depends on products, quantities, artwork preparation, decoration, packing, shipping and applicable taxes. Storage and ongoing services are separate when included in your scope. Request an itemized quote.

Can you work with an existing vendor or take over reorders?

Share the current product specifications, artwork files you may use and your ordering history. We review comparable options and availability; matching a prior supplier's product or decoration requires approval.

Can I visit a showroom or speak with a real person?

Yes. LS Custom has Houston-area locations in Katy, Cypress and West Houston. Remote clients can work with our team without visiting. Use the Locations page for current contact details.

Products, artwork & samples

How do artwork approvals work for out-of-state orders?

Send your logo and brand standards. Review the proposed product, logo placement, size and decoration details with our team, then approve the final proof before production.

Can you design merchandise from an idea?

Yes. Our design team can help develop artwork and product recommendations from a brief. Design scope, revisions, fees and usage rights are agreed for your project.

What logo files should I provide?

Send the best original files you have, preferably vector artwork when available, along with brand colors and fonts. We review suitability and quote any artwork preparation or embroidery digitizing needed.

Can we see samples before a large order?

Ask about blank, decorated or pre-production samples for the proposed items. Sample availability, costs and timing vary. A digital proof is not the same as a physical sample.

Which is better: embroidery, screen printing or DTF?

It depends on the product, artwork, quantity and intended use. Embroidery adds stitched texture; screen printing can suit repeat designs in bulk; DTF can suit detailed multicolor artwork. We recommend a method after reviewing the order.

Can you match our brand colors exactly?

Share your color references. Product fabrics, threads, inks and print methods reproduce colors differently. Review available matches and samples; an exact match is not assumed from an on-screen proof.

Can we mix sizes, products and logo placements?

Yes, we can quote a coordinated assortment. Minimums and setup costs may apply separately by product or decoration. Provide a size breakdown and placement details before approving production.

Do you offer sustainable or premium merchandise?

We can help source suitable options and compare product information. Ask for evidence supporting a specific recycled-content or certification claim. Premium positioning should be validated through the selected product and sample.

Corporate gifting & employee kits

What is corporate gifting?

Corporate gifting means selecting gifts for employees, clients or business partners for a defined occasion. LS Custom helps connect the product selection, branding, assembly and delivery to your budget and recipients.

What are good corporate gifts for employees?

Start with useful products that fit their work and lifestyle: quality apparel, drinkware, bags or notebooks. Consider sizing, climate and personal preferences. We can build options around your budget rather than a fixed generic bundle.

Can you create employee onboarding and new-hire welcome kits?

Yes. Combine approved apparel, drinkware, notebooks and a welcome message. Define sizes, kit contents, who submits orders and whether delivery goes to an office or individual new hires.

Can you send gifts for employee anniversaries and milestones?

Yes. Plan approved gift selections and budgets for work anniversaries, promotions and team achievements. Agree ordering contacts, recipient lists and shipment timing for each release.

Can you handle executive gifts and client appreciation?

Yes. We can recommend products, subtle branding and presentation for client thank-yous, leadership events and holiday gifting. Your organization approves recipient eligibility and any applicable gift limits.

Can gifts include personalized names and a message?

Personalization and printed notes can be quoted where the product and process support them. Confirm names, spelling, artwork and packing instructions before approval; personalization can affect cost and timing.

How do we choose gifts that follow our company policy?

Provide your approved item values, recipient restrictions and prohibited categories before product selection. Your policy or compliance reviewer approves the gifts; LS Custom supplies product and pricing details.

How do we get a corporate gifting budget approved?

Build an itemized plan showing recipients, occasion, products, decoration, assembly, shipping and any storage costs. Separate one-time setup from recurring spend and include the approval and ordering process.

Industries & organizations

Do you create client gifts for law firms?

Yes. We can plan client appreciation, recruiting gifts, employee welcome kits and event merchandise with understated branding. Your firm approves recipient eligibility, budget and gift-policy requirements.

Can you help wealth management and financial advisory firms?

Yes. We can coordinate client welcome gifts, advisor apparel, seminars and employee kits. Provide your firm's approved budget and review process; gift collections are not automatically compliant with financial-industry rules.

Can you support accounting, consulting and professional-service firms?

Yes. Ask about client appreciation, employee onboarding, recruiting and conference collections. We can coordinate product selection and office-specific quantities for a single order or repeat needs.

Do you offer real estate closing gifts and brokerage merchandise?

We can quote client gifts, agent apparel, onboarding kits and event merchandise. Share the recipient, budget, personalization and delivery requirements so the products suit the occasion.

Can you supply construction, energy and home-service companies?

Yes. LS Custom supports branded workwear and crew merchandise. Provide employer-required product specifications before selection; decoration or a high-visibility color alone does not establish safety compliance.

Can you help restaurant and hospitality groups with multiple locations?

Yes. Plan approved role-based apparel, opening kits, giveaways and reorders by location. Share staff sizes, receiving contacts and opening or event dates.

Do you work with schools, youth leagues, nonprofits and churches?

Yes. We can help with team apparel, staff clothing, event merchandise and suitable fundraising collections. Ordering, product minimums, store scope and fulfillment are agreed for each organization.

Can you support technology companies, healthcare teams and associations?

Yes. Discuss employee kits, conferences, client gifts and approved apparel. Share industry-specific purchasing or product requirements early so we can review fit before committing.

Nationwide shipping & delivery

Can you ship to employees in different states?

Yes. Share the destination count and ZIP codes so we can quote individual packing and shipping. Agree recipient-list format, address handling and the release schedule before providing personal address data.

Can one order be split between offices, events and home addresses?

Yes. We can scope quantities and packing by destination. Split shipping and special receiving instructions affect cost and schedule, so include them before approving the quote.

Does being based in Texas make shipping faster to both coasts?

A Texas base gives you one U.S. point of coordination, but speed depends on origin, destination, service and inventory readiness. We compare actual ZIP codes and distinguish production time from carrier transit.

What determines the delivered cost of merchandise?

Products, decoration, setup, assembly, carton dimensions, shipment weight, destination count, carrier service and applicable taxes all matter. Compare quotes using the same items and delivery requirements.

How long will my order take to arrive?

The schedule includes product sourcing, artwork approval, production, packing and transit. Tell us your required in-hand date. We confirm a feasible plan after reviewing the full order.

Can you handle a rush order or a fixed event deadline?

Ask before committing to the event. We review available products, approvals, production capacity and shipping options. Rush acceptance, extra costs and delivery commitments must be confirmed for the order.

Can you ship to trade shows and conference venues?

We can scope event shipments. Send the venue or advance-warehouse address, receiving dates, labels, booth details and handling requirements. Venue and show-contractor charges may be separate.

Is merchandise bought from Texas tax-free?

No. Texas is not sales-tax-free, and buying from a Texas supplier does not automatically make an order tax-free. Applicable taxes and any valid exemptions are determined for the order and delivery destinations.

Company stores & multi-location teams

What is an online company store?

A company store is a branded place to order approved merchandise. The assortment, access, payment responsibilities and fulfillment method are defined around your employees, offices or customers.

Do we need a company store to work with LS Custom?

No. You can order directly for one project or recurring needs. A store is useful when it simplifies repeat ordering, product approvals or orders from multiple locations.

Can every office use the same approved merchandise?

Yes. We can help define a shared assortment and artwork standards, with agreed variations by role or location. Product availability, substitutions and approval responsibilities should be documented.

Can you support employee allowances and approval workflows?

Tell us the rules you need, including budgets, approvers, billing and access. We review which workflows the proposed setup supports. Features and integrations are confirmed before a store is promised.

Can employees choose their own sizes?

A store or organized order-collection process can help gather selections. We agree available sizes, products, ordering windows and payment responsibilities for your setup.

Can you supply franchise launch kits and replacement uniforms?

Yes. Combine approved staff apparel, welcome materials and giveaways for new locations, then plan reorders for replacement uniforms and new hires. Send your opening calendar and quantities by location.

Is company-store setup free?

Ask about setup included with a qualifying merchandise order or a larger ongoing relationship. Eligibility and scope are confirmed in writing. Products, shipping and additional services are not automatically included.

Can you integrate with our HR, ecommerce or procurement system?

Share the platform, required data flow and security requirements. Integration availability, costs and implementation work need review. Do not assume a ready-made connection or a specific enterprise feature.

Print on demand, stock & fulfillment

What does print on demand mean for company merchandise?

Suitable items are decorated after an order or approved release instead of producing the entire finished inventory in advance. Available products, decoration, minimums and turnaround are defined for your account.

Can LS Custom offer print on demand for an established company?

Yes, we can scope on-demand production for suitable products and order patterns. Share expected volume, assortment and delivery needs so we can compare on-demand, stocked and mixed approaches.

Does print on demand require inventory?

It can reduce the finished merchandise you hold, but blank availability, packaging and production inputs still matter. Some products or service commitments may require reserved or stocked items.

Will print on demand always save us money?

No. It may reduce unused inventory and upfront commitments, while small-run unit costs can be higher. Compare product cost, setup, labor, storage, shipping and expected unsold stock using your actual demand.

When is bulk production with stored inventory better?

Bulk can suit predictable demand, repeat designs and items that must be ready to dispatch. Compare unit savings with storage, inventory ownership, replenishment and the risk of leftover products.

Can we combine stocked best sellers with print on demand?

Yes. A mixed plan can stock predictable items and produce selected lower-volume items on demand. We agree which products use each model and how combined orders are released.

Can you store our merchandise and ship it when needed?

Storage and fulfillment can be scoped for approved merchandise. Agree receiving, counts, stock reporting, release instructions, fees and inventory ownership before sending stock.

Can you kit products supplied by another company?

Submit an item list, dimensions, quantities and handling needs for review. Customer-supplied goods require acceptance and receiving instructions before shipment; assembly and storage are quoted.

Enterprise purchasing & procurement

Can a large enterprise request a merchandise proposal?

Yes. Send an RFP or brief with products, volumes, locations, service requirements and procurement deadlines. We review capacity and requirements before committing to a scope.

Do you work only with companies above a certain revenue level?

No. We assess the merchandise need, order scope and operating fit rather than requiring a revenue threshold. Larger teams can request coordinated sourcing, approvals and multi-location fulfillment.

Can you meet Fortune 500 procurement requirements?

Share your supplier-onboarding, insurance, security, reporting and service requirements. We assess each requirement and identify what can be supported. A proposal is not a claim of prior Fortune 500 customers or certifications.

Can LS Custom help consolidate merchandise vendors?

We can review apparel, promotional items, gifts, stores and fulfillment together. Start with your current assortment and ordering pain points, then identify which work can reasonably be coordinated through one partner.

Can we request a pilot before a national rollout?

Yes. Ask about a defined pilot with approved products, destinations and evaluation criteria. Confirm the pilot scope and costs, then use its results to plan any wider rollout.

Do you accept purchase orders or offer payment terms?

Provide your purchasing requirements during quoting. Purchase-order acceptance, deposits, billing and credit terms must be agreed in writing; they are not automatic for every account.

Can you provide reporting, service levels and inventory controls?

Specify the reports, cadence, order volumes and service levels you need. We review the operating process and proposed system, then document agreed deliverables rather than assume real-time reporting or guaranteed turnaround.

How do you handle confidential recipient information?

Agree the approved transfer method, authorized contacts and data-handling requirements before sharing employee or client addresses. An initial quote usually needs destination counts and ZIP codes, not full personal records.

Agencies & brand partners

Can LS Custom be our agency's merchandise fulfillment partner?

Yes. We can scope sourcing, decoration, kitting and shipping for client campaigns. Agree the creative handoff, client approver, commercial terms and communication route before kickoff.

Do you offer white-label or blind shipping for agencies?

Ask about the required sender details, packing slips, inserts and packaging. We confirm available white-label arrangements and any costs in writing before accepting the project.

Will you communicate directly with our agency's client?

We follow the communication route agreed for the project. Tell us whether all updates and approvals should pass through your account team or a named client contact.

Can you manage several client brands at the same time?

We can scope separate assortments, artwork, approvals, inventory and delivery instructions for each client. Include your campaign calendar and order forecasts for review.

Can you support influencer seeding and PR kits?

Yes. Share the concept, recipient count, contents, personalization, presentation and release date. We quote sourcing, assembly and individual delivery for the approved kit.

Can you help an agency compare POD with stocked campaign merchandise?

Yes. Compare forecast demand, launch dates, product choices, unit costs and leftover-stock risk. A mixed approach may suit recurring client needs better than using one method for every item.

Can we bring our own artwork and product specifications?

Yes. Provide approved files, brand standards and specifications. We review production feasibility, proofing and any necessary adjustments before the agency or client approves the work.

Can we get pricing for a client pitch?

Share quantities, products, decoration and delivery assumptions. We can review a quote or estimate appropriate to the brief. Samples, original design work and firm production commitments are scoped separately.

YouTube, creators & fan merchandise

Can you be a merch partner for a YouTube channel?

Yes. We can help plan apparel and branded products, review artwork, compare fulfillment models and scope a store or merchandise launch. Share your audience, product ideas and expected demand.

Do you support podcasters, streamers and influencers?

Yes. We can review creator-branded products, limited releases, event merchandise and recurring fan orders. Rights to names, logos and artwork must be cleared before production.

Can a creator start with print on demand?

For suitable products, on-demand production may reduce finished-stock commitments. Product choice, decoration, minimums, fees and turnaround require review; it is not a promise that every item can be produced singly.

Can you help us launch a limited merchandise drop?

Yes. Define the collection, order window, quantities or demand assumptions, approvals and shipping expectations before announcing the drop. Production capacity and product availability must be confirmed.

Can we use preorders to decide production quantities?

Ask about an order-window approach. Agree payment handling, production minimums, cancellation terms and customer communication before collecting orders or promising arrival dates.

Do we need a certain follower count to work with you?

We evaluate the product, expected demand, budget and operating needs. A follower count alone does not guarantee sales or determine the right inventory model.

Do you offer revenue-sharing creator partnerships?

Commercial structures are considered case by case. Do not assume free production, advances or a revenue split; responsibilities, costs, rights and payment terms must be agreed.

Who handles the creator store, customer service and returns?

Define those responsibilities before launch, including store ownership, payment processing, order updates and issue handling. Store support and returns processes depend on the agreed scope.

International brands entering the U.S.

Can an overseas company use LS Custom as its U.S. merch partner?

Yes. We can review U.S. sourcing, decoration, kitting, inventory and domestic delivery for approved apparel and promotional products. Share your U.S. launch plan, products and destinations.

Can you ship gifts to our U.S. employees while headquarters is overseas?

We can coordinate U.S. recipient deliveries with an overseas buyer. Agree artwork approval, payment, recipient-data handling and the release schedule before production.

Can we avoid shipping every merchandise order from overseas?

U.S.-sourced or pre-positioned approved merchandise can support domestic fulfillment rather than sending each parcel internationally. Compare receiving, storage, production and domestic delivery costs before choosing the model.

Can you produce merchandise for our U.S. trade-show launch?

We can review apparel, promotional items, staff kits and event gifts for a U.S. launch. Provide brand standards, quantities, arrival dates and venue receiving requirements early.

Can we send overseas inventory to your Texas warehouse?

Only after review and written acceptance. Provide product details, carton or pallet counts and shipment information. Agree receiving instructions and responsibility for customs clearance before dispatch.

Are you a customs broker or importer of record?

Those services are not assumed in a merchandise or fulfillment quote. Importer-of-record, brokerage, duties and regulatory responsibilities must be arranged and documented before an international inbound shipment.

Does U.S. decoration mean the product is Made in USA?

No. Decoration or fulfillment in Texas does not establish a product's manufacturing origin. Country-of-origin and related labeling claims must be supported by the selected product's documentation.

Can you fulfill orders outside the United States too?

Discuss each destination and product first. International shipping, duties, restrictions and service availability are reviewed separately; nationwide U.S. service does not imply automatic global fulfillment coverage.

Reorders, issues & next steps

Can we reorder the same products later?

Yes. Prior artwork and specifications can be a starting point. Product availability, pricing, decoration and any minimums are reconfirmed for the new order.

What happens when a product is discontinued?

We review alternatives and their fit, color, decoration and cost with you. A substitute should be approved before production rather than silently replacing the agreed product.

Can I change artwork or quantities after approval?

Contact our team immediately. Changes may not be possible once work or purchasing begins and can affect cost and timing. Confirm any accepted change in writing.

What if an order arrives damaged or incorrect?

Contact LS Custom promptly with the order details and clear photos of the issue and packaging. The Returns & Refunds policy explains the review process for custom-order problems.

Are custom merchandise returns the same as retail returns?

No. Custom items have order-specific terms. Review the Returns & Refunds policy and approved quote before purchasing, especially for sizing, personalization and artwork approval.

Are standalone packaging and safety replenishment available now?

These standalone replenishment services are coming soon. Merchandise-kit packing remains available by project quote. Ask about future packaging or workplace-safety supply plans without assuming current availability.

Can we start small and expand to more offices?

Yes. Begin with a clearly scoped order or pilot, review the result and then plan wider distribution. Additional products, destinations and service requirements are priced and approved as the scope changes.

How do we choose the right merchandise partner?

Compare product fit, samples, approval processes, total delivered cost, communication and fulfillment responsibilities. For recurring work, also review inventory ownership, reporting and exception handling before signing.

Help for your role

I am a project manager. Can you coordinate our merchandise deadline?

Send the required arrival date, products, quantities, delivery locations and approval contacts. We can scope production and shipping around your project, with feasibility and milestones confirmed before you commit.

I am a CEO or owner. Can one team manage our merchandise needs?

LS Custom can coordinate product selection, decoration, gifting, company stores and fulfillment within an agreed scope. Start with one order or discuss recurring needs across your organization.

Can you work with our marketing team and brand guidelines?

Yes. Share your logo files, color references, usage rules and approval process. Product and decoration options are reviewed against your brand requirements before production.

Can HR order welcome kits for employees hired throughout the year?

Ask about a recurring onboarding arrangement using agreed products, packing and destinations. We review stock, replenishment, order submission and shipping responsibilities before launch.

Can our office manager reorder without starting over?

Keep the approved product specifications, artwork and prior order reference. Our team can review availability and quote the next order; a company store may help when multiple people order regularly.

Can you work with procurement, finance and a separate creative approver?

Yes. Identify who approves artwork, costs and purchasing paperwork. We can discuss a coordinated approval process, with payment terms and documentation requirements reviewed for the specific account.

Do we need a dedicated merchandise manager to work with you?

No. Your contact can be an owner, project manager, marketer, HR colleague or operations lead. For complex accounts, agree on a primary contact and approval responsibilities to keep decisions clear.

Can you prepare options for our leadership team to review?

Tell us the audience, use, budget, quantities and deadline. Ask for a focused selection with product, decoration and delivery assumptions so stakeholders can compare options meaningfully.

Online sellers & marketplace fulfillment

Can you help sellers growing beyond Printful or another print-on-demand provider?

Yes. We can review your products, order history and fulfillment requirements to see whether bulk production, stocked inventory, eligible print on demand or a hybrid arrangement fits. You can start with selected products rather than moving your entire catalog.

Which selling platforms can your clients use?

We welcome inquiries from sellers on Etsy, Amazon, eBay, Walmart Marketplace, TikTok Shop, Shopify, WooCommerce and independent stores, as well as YouTube and podcast merchandise brands. Your selling channel does not by itself confirm an integration or fulfillment arrangement; we review the actual workflow.

Do you automatically connect to every marketplace?

No automatic connection should be assumed. Before launch, we review order transfer, product and SKU mapping, inventory updates, tracking, cancellations and data access. The agreed process may involve an existing connector, approved file exchange or a separately scoped integration.

Can you produce apparel and hold inventory for future orders?

Ask about producing an approved batch and storing it for releases. Confirm minimums, stock ownership, receiving, storage charges, replenishment, picking, packing and shipping before sending inventory.

Is bulk production always cheaper than print on demand?

No. Compare the complete cost, including production, setup, storage, packing, postage, unsold inventory and returns. Predictable bestsellers may suit bulk; uncertain demand may suit a different model. We quote your actual products and volume.

Can I combine stocked bestsellers with on-demand products?

A hybrid arrangement can be reviewed for suitable accounts. Define which items are stocked, which are produced after ordering and how mixed orders are handled before advertising delivery times.

Can you ship in my brand’s packaging?

Custom packaging, inserts and agreed sender information can be scoped. Confirm materials, minimums, storage, packing instructions and marketplace requirements. Standalone packaging replenishment is a separate coming-soon service.

Can you help with Amazon FBA or Walmart fulfillment-center preparation?

Tell us whether you need customer-direct shipping or preparation for a marketplace fulfillment center. Labels, carton rules, routing, appointments and service responsibilities require separate review. FBA, WFS or other specialized preparation is not automatically included.

Can you handle a TikTok launch or a YouTube merchandise drop?

Share launch dates, expected daily orders, peak volume, SKU count and shipping promises. We review capacity, inventory and the order handoff before you announce availability. A forecast is needed to plan a surge responsibly.

Is Houston faster for shipping to both coasts?

Houston provides a Texas base for coordinating U.S. production and distribution. Actual transit and cost depend on destination ZIP codes, parcel size, carrier and service. We compare your destination mix rather than promising every order will arrive faster.

Do you handle marketplace customer service and returns?

Agree on who answers buyers, authorizes returns, receives returned goods, inspects items and funds replacements. These responsibilities and related charges are defined in your service scope.

How do we transition without disrupting our store?

Start with a product and order review, approve samples and packing specifications, test the order-to-tracking workflow, and pilot selected SKUs. Move additional products only after the agreed process is working.

Enterprise, purchasing & Texas questions

These answers cover questions larger buyers often need resolved before a quote, pilot or recurring merchandise program.

Enterprise buying decisions

Can LS Custom manage merchandise for a company with more than $10 million in annual revenue?

Company revenue can signal scale, but fit also depends on order size, frequency, employee count, locations, product mix, fulfillment needs and approval complexity. A large organization can start with one defined project or pilot before expanding.

What makes a merchandise partner suitable for a Fortune 500 procurement process?

Enterprise buyers typically need clear ownership, documented quotes, reliable approvals, brand controls, fulfillment responsibilities and procurement documentation. LS Custom reviews the specific onboarding, insurance, payment, reporting and compliance requirements for each opportunity.

Can one vendor handle our uniforms, employee gifts, promotional products and fulfillment?

LS Custom can coordinate these merchandise needs within an agreed program scope. The right structure depends on what is recurring, what is campaign-based, where inventory is held, who approves purchases and how orders reach employees or locations.

We have 600 employees and eight offices. Should we buy merch by project or establish a managed program?

If the same teams reorder throughout the year, a managed program can reduce repeated product selection and approval work. If demand is occasional, project ordering may be simpler. We map locations, roles, annual events, reorder frequency and shipping needs first.

Can we start with a pilot order before moving our entire merchandise program?

Yes. A pilot can test product quality, approvals, packing, delivery and communication with a controlled group before a wider rollout. Define success measures before the pilot begins.

How is a managed merchandise partner different from a local T-shirt printer?

A print project focuses primarily on decorated goods. A managed program may also include product planning, approved assortments, company stores, inventory, kitting, multi-location distribution and recurring reorders.

Can procurement, marketing, HR and operations all use the same merchandise program?

Yes, when responsibilities are clear. Organizations can establish approved products and brand rules while assigning different ordering, budget or approval responsibilities to teams. Advanced workflows are scoped to the account.

What should an RFP or vendor evaluation ask a merchandise supplier?

Ask who owns sourcing, artwork, production, quality review, inventory, packing, shipping, reporting and issue resolution. Also compare samples, total delivered cost, lead-time assumptions, data handling, payment terms and exception handling.

Texas tax, resale & exemption questions

Can a Texas business order merchandise tax-free just because it has an EIN?

No. An EIN by itself does not make a purchase exempt from Texas sales tax. Tax treatment depends on the purchaser, intended use and valid documentation. Provide applicable resale or exemption documentation for review; consult your tax adviser.

What is the difference between a Texas resale certificate and a sales-tax exemption certificate?

A resale certificate generally relates to items purchased for resale, while an exemption certificate applies when a qualifying purchaser or transaction is exempt under Texas rules. They are not interchangeable.

Can a nonprofit or school buy custom merchandise tax-free in Texas?

Some qualifying organizations may make exempt purchases when the transaction and documentation meet Texas requirements, but nonprofit status alone should not be assumed to make every purchase exempt. Provide current documentation and intended use.

If we buy shirts to resell, is that treated differently from shirts we give employees?

Potentially. Merchandise purchased for resale can have different tax treatment from items the organization consumes or gives away. Identify mixed-use quantities before invoicing.

Can an out-of-state company provide a resale certificate for an order shipped from Texas?

The correct documentation depends on the transaction, delivery location and buyer's tax status. Send purchasing and delivery details before ordering so documentation can be reviewed.

Do you keep resale or exemption certificates on file for repeat orders?

LS Custom can review and retain purchasing documentation as part of account setup where appropriate. Buyers should keep information current and notify us when status, entity, use of goods or documentation changes.

Are corporate gifts automatically tax deductible?

No blanket tax-deduction claim should be assumed. Tax treatment can depend on recipient, purpose, value and business circumstances. LS Custom provides invoice information; your accountant or tax adviser determines deductibility.

Can we place one order containing both resale merchandise and company-use merchandise?

Yes, but identify quantities and intended use before the quote is finalized. Mixed transactions may require different tax treatment or documentation.

Houston & Texas service questions

Where are LS Custom's Houston-area locations?

LS Custom has three Houston-area locations: Katy, Cypress and West Houston / Energy Corridor. The West Houston showroom is at 1500 S Dairy Ashford Rd, Suite 375, Houston, TX 77077 and is open daily from 8 AM to 6 PM.

Do you serve Houston companies with multiple locations across the metro area?

Yes. We can plan a single order or recurring program across multiple Houston-area locations, with goods shipped together, by location or to individual employees depending on scope.

Can a Dallas, Austin or San Antonio company work with LS Custom even though your locations are in Houston?

Yes. LS Custom's physical locations are in the Houston area, while companies elsewhere in Texas can work with the team remotely for product selection, proofs, production planning and shipping.

Which LS Custom location should a West Houston or Energy Corridor company use?

The West Houston showroom serves the Energy Corridor and surrounding Houston area at 1500 S Dairy Ashford Rd, Suite 375. Large programs can still coordinate through one account contact regardless of shipment destinations.

Can a Katy company visit LS Custom and also ship merchandise nationwide?

Yes. Local showroom support and nationwide delivery can be part of the same project. The production and delivery plan depends on products, quantities, destinations and required arrival dates.

Can a Cypress company set up recurring employee uniforms or merchandise?

Yes. A Cypress-area business can begin with a defined uniform or merchandise order and discuss recurring reorders, approved assortments or a company-store workflow when those tools make operational sense.

Can you consolidate merchandise for several Texas offices into one program?

Yes. We can review approved products, quantities, office-specific needs and distribution rules across Texas, including consolidated purchasing with shipments divided by location.

Why would a national company use a Houston-based merchandise partner?

Houston can provide a central U.S. operating point for merchandise planning and distribution, while LS Custom offers local support through three Houston-area locations. The business case should still depend on product fit, total delivered cost, service scope and destination mix.
